Asha Sweet Centre

Asha Sweet Centre is right here on Basavanagudi Bugle Rock Road 26/3. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town. We’ve been making sweets for a long time. The shop is usually full of the smell of frying and sugar. We start working while most people are still asleep. The trays get filled up one by one. We don't have a fancy website or anything. We just talk to the people who walk in. Some customers have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. It’s nice to see. The street outside can get very busy on the weekends. We have to work faster then. It’s a simple shop with glass cases. We try to keep everything stocked up. Sometimes we run out of the popular items early. We just tell people to come back the next day. We don't use any big words to talk about our work. It’s just making sweets and selling them. The floors get sticky sometimes and we have to scrub them down. We use the same recipes we’ve had for years. Nothing really changes much here and that’s fine with us. We just keep the lights on and the doors open. If you’re near Bugle Rock Road you’ll find us easily. It's just a regular daily routine for us and we like the consistency.
