Anand Sweets & Savouries

Anand Sweets & Savouries is right on Kamanahalli Main Road, at number 41488. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always a lot of honking and people rushing by outside our front door. Inside, it’s a bit different. We have rows of glass cases filled with all the different snacks and sweets we make. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything fresh, so we’re always moving things around and bringing out new batches from the kitchen. Kamanahalli is a great neighborhood because there’s such a mix of people. We get students, families, and old folks who have lived here forever. During the festival seasons, the shop gets absolutely chaotic. We have to have everyone on deck to pack boxes and handle the payments at the counter. It’s exhausting but it’s also when the shop feels most alive. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks; we just rely on the fact that people walking down the main road can smell what we’re frying up in the back. Sometimes we have a bit of a mess behind the counter when it’s busy, but we try our best to keep the customer area looking decent. The staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how to work around each other in the tight spaces. It’s just a regular part of Kamanahalli life for us now. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more.
