You can find us up on the 3rd floor over at the Malleshwaram location on Sampige Road. We are in the building at number 1, specifically units T01 and T06. Being on the 3rd floor means people have to take the elevator or the stairs to get to us, but they still find their way. The space is filled with air hockey tables and various arcade games that make a lot of noise. It’s different from the street level because once you’re inside, you sort of forget about the traffic on 2nd Main Road. The carpet is that typical dark pattern you see in places with lots of games. We go around checking the machines throughout the day to make sure they are working. If a ticket gets jammed, someone has to come over with a key to fix it. The lighting is mostly from the screens of the games, which gives the whole room a certain look. Malleshwaram is a traditional area, so we see a mix of grandpas with their grandkids and groups of college students. There’s a counter where people trade in their points for small prizes, and that usually has a bit of a line. It’s not a quiet place by any means. We have to wipe down the consoles and controllers pretty often. It’s just a big room full of things to do when people want to get out of the sun for a while.
