Our place, Adyar Ananda Bhavan Sweets & Snacks, is tucked away on Magadi Main Road. The exact spot is 2nd Cross Chord Road Layout 1778/B32. It can be a real mouthful to say the whole address when people call us up for directions. We have got all the sweets and the salty snacks laid out in the glass cases every morning. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends, which makes the day go by faster. Most of the time, we are just making sure the counters are wiped down and the floors are not getting too sticky from the syrups. It is hard work keeping up with the rush when everyone arrives at once. Magadi Main Road is always loud with traffic, so we hear a lot of car horns and buses going by. The building at 1778/B32 is not anything fancy to look at from the sidewalk, but it works fine for what we need. We spend most of our day packing up boxes or helping folks decide which snack they want to take home. It is just a normal shop run by normal people.
