Aashraya Chocolate Junction

People stop by here on Dickenson Road because they want something sweet after work. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for the counters and a few people to stand around while they decide what they want. We spend a lot of time arranging the boxes and making sure nothing is melting when the weather gets warm. Bupindra Singh 117 isn't hard to find if you know the area. Some days it’s very quiet and I just sit here checking the stock. Other days, like during festivals, it’s a bit of a mess with everyone talking at once. We don't have fancy decorations, just the shelves and the glass cases. I’ve been working here for a while now and I know most of the people who come in from the nearby offices. They usually grab a few bars of chocolate or some of the loose ones we keep. The lights inside are a bit bright, but it helps show what’s on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic outside on Dickenson Road gets really loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We keep the door closed most of the time to keep the dust out. It’s just a normal shop doing its thing every day. Nothing too special happens, we just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of the chocolate we have is pretty standard but people seem to like it well enough.
