Aamir Kaleemi Sweet Point

We are located in New Guddadahalli, specifically on G Street in Jogpalaya, at 4 2. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. Aamir Kaleemi Sweet Point is mostly known by the neighbors who live on this street and the next one over. We spend our days hovering over big vats of sugar syrup and frying up treats. The smell of cardamom and fried dough is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the time we head home. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to decorate. We just put the sweets in the glass cases and hope people like what they see. The display cases are a little old, and sometimes the sliding doors stick, but they keep everything clean. We see a lot of kids coming in after school with a few coins, looking for something sweet. We also get the older men who stop by in the evening to buy a box for their families. It’s a neighborhood spot through and through. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. There’s no seating here, just enough room for a few people to stand and pick out what they want. We’ve got a calendar on the wall from three years ago because we like the picture on it. It’s just a small family business trying to make a living in Jogpalaya by making things a bit sweeter for everyone.
