Kisan Vijay Pipra Dewas Barauni Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in Pipra Dewas, which is part of the Barauni area in Begusarai. It’s a group of us who have been farming these lands for a long time. We chose the name Kisan Vijay because we want to see the local farmers succeed in what they do. Our main spot is right there in the village of Pipra Dewas. We deal with all sorts of agricultural produce that grows well in this part of Bihar. The work is physically demanding and we are usually out in the sun most of the day. We formed this group so we could help each other with things like getting better seeds or finding a truck to take our goods to the city. It’s a very hands-on job. There isn't much sitting around in an office or writing fancy reports. We keep our paperwork simple because we'd rather be outside. Sometimes the river near Begusarai causes issues with the fields, so we have to deal with that as it comes. We talk about the crops over tea in the evenings. It’s a community of people who understand the struggle of farming. We don't use big words or have a grand plan. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a price that covers our costs and a bit more. It’s about surviving and helping the neighbors do the same.
