Bhithsari Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Surajpura Bhagwanpur, which is in the Teghra area of Begusarai. We run things from Ram Pratap Ray’s place. Begusarai is a busy spot for farming, and there are always people moving back and forth with tractors and carts. We started this company because we saw that working alone wasn't getting us very far. Now, we gather at the office to plan out the season and figure out how to get our produce to the market in one piece. We aren't professional businessmen, just people who know the land and want to make a living. Ram Pratap keeps the books, and the rest of us handle the field work and the transport. Sometimes we make mistakes with the scheduling, and things get a bit chaotic, but we always find a way to get it done. The building in Surajpura is where we store some of the smaller tools and meet up for tea to discuss the latest news from the grain market. It’s a practical setup for practical people. We don't spend money on advertising because everyone in Teghra already knows where we are and what we’re doing. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
