Birpur Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in Kharmauli village, specifically in Ward 9 of the Genharpur area. This is part of the Birpur block in Begusarai. We are a group of farmers who live and work right here. It’s a simple producer company we started so we could help each other out with the farming business. Life in Begusarai is mostly about the land. We spend our days out in the fields, so the office is just a small place to keep some papers and supplies. We don't have any polished corporate rules. We just talk things through and decide what is best for the season. Whether it is wheat or maize, we handle it all together. The village is small, so everyone knows where we are. We don't use much technology, just what is necessary to get the job done. Sometimes the harvest is good and sometimes it’s a struggle with the weather, but that’s just how it goes. We aren't looking for big fame. We just want to make sure the local farmers in Kharmauli get a fair deal for their hard work. You won't find any fancy suits here, just people in their work clothes. We have been doing this for a while and we plan to stay right here in the village. It is a practical way to live and we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the soil and what it gives back to us every year.
