Devipatan Farmer Producer Company Limited

This group was started by a handful of us farmers around the Siddharth Nagar district. We are based out of Ravi Yadav's house in the village of Parasa Diwan, which is near Debrua. It’s a very typical rural setup like you’d see anywhere else around here. We don't have a storefront or a big sign hanging out front. Most people in the area just know where to find us if they need to talk. We formed this producer company because we were tired of doing everything separately and getting nowhere. In this part of the country, farming is everything, but it’s rarely easy to make ends meet at the end of the month. By coming together as the Devipatan group, we try to handle our business a bit more collectively. We talk about the crops, the local market, and what supplies we need to get for the next season. Ravi handles a lot of the registration and the paperwork side of things, which is a real headache for the rest of us who would rather be outside. We are just simple people who work the ground every single day. Our hands are usually calloused and we spend way more time in the dirt than we ever do in an office. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to make sure our families in Parasa Diwan are doing okay. It’s about community and looking out for our neighbors.
