Our company is called Udyamsheel Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited and we are based in Harijan Basti, Talab Tola. Specifically, we use Mevalal Bharti’s place as our main point of contact. It’s a very local setting, right in the heart of the community here. Most of us are farmers who have been working the land around Talab Tola for a long time. We decided to form this producer company to help each other out with things like getting supplies and selling what we grow. It is much easier to do these things as a group. The place at Mevalal Bharti’s isn't a big office building. It’s just a regular house where we gather to talk about the crops and the prices. There is always a lot of noise from the neighborhood and kids playing nearby, which is just part of life here. We don’t have any slick marketing or professional branding. We are just honest people trying to make a living from farming. Udyamsheel Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited belongs to the farmers here. We take things as they come and try to solve problems together. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us in Talab Tola. We just want to ensure that our local farming efforts are supported and that we can continue working this land for years to come.
