Ranatbhanwar Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Gurjar Basti. Our specific spot is at Ward Num. 03 in Jatwara Kalan. It’s a small community where everyone is pretty much involved in farming one way or another. We decided to set up this company to help organize our efforts. We aren't professionals at running a business, but we know our land. The office in Gurjar Basti is where we meet to discuss the different crops and how we are going to manage the harvest this year. Jatwara Kalan is a quiet place most of the time, except when it's planting season. Then, things get a bit more hectic around Ward Num. 03. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or computers. We mostly use notebooks and talk face to face. It feels more natural that way. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the farmers here get what they need. Sometimes we sit outside because it's cooler than being inside the office. People from the basti stop by to chat or ask about the company. We just tell them what we are doing. It’s a very open and simple way of working. We are just a group of people from Jatwara Kalan trying to do something useful for our families and our neighbors in the village. It isn't much, but it's ours and we are proud of the work we do here.
