Basti Milk Producercompany Limited is right on Dhorika Road in the Bargadwa area of Basti. We are located near Gandhi Nagar, and if you’re coming from the Badeban side, you can’t miss the turn-off. Milk is what we know. Most of us grew up with cows and buffaloes in the backyard, so starting a producer company felt like the natural thing to do for the community. The morning starts early here, usually before the sun is even up, because that’s when the milk starts coming in. It’s a busy, noisy place most of the time. We aren’t running some high-tech laboratory; we’re just a bunch of people from the Basti area trying to get fresh milk from the farms to the people who need it without it getting messed up along the way. The office at 272001 is where we handle the accounts and talk to the dairy farmers who bring their cans in. Sometimes the roads are a mess, especially when it rains, and getting the transport sorted is a nightmare. But we’ve lived here all our lives, so we’re used to the local chaos. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. We’d rather just focus on making sure the collections are on time and the farmers are getting a fair price for their liters. It’s a long day, every single day, but that’s just the life of a milk producer in Basti. It's tough work but it's what we do.
