Our place is out on Dahod Road, specifically F-116 A in the industrial area. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going at all hours. Tripura Stones is basically just a yard full of heavy material and a few of us trying to keep it all sorted out. Working with stone is heavy work and it’s usually quite loud with the machinery running in the background. We spend most of our mornings checking the new arrivals from the quarries. Some days the heat out here is pretty intense, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just walk out into the yard with us, and we look at the blocks or slabs together under the natural light. It’s better to see the stone that way anyway. The office is small and usually has a bit of dust on everything no matter how much we clean. We deal with a lot of paperwork for the transport side of things, making sure the drivers have what they need for the long hauls. It’s a simple operation at the end of the day. We just focus on getting the stone moved and making sure the orders are filled correctly without too much fuss. It's just how we do things here on Dahod Road.
