Arun Marble Udyog

We've been operating out of Plot No. 34 for a while now. It's right on the Banswara Road in the main industrial area. If you know the area near Pratap Circle, you've probably passed by our gate more than once. Working with stone is a pretty messy business, but it's what we do here at Arun Marble Udyog. Every morning we open up and start checking the blocks that came in. There's always a lot of dust flying around, but that's just how life is in the industrial area. We spend most of our time talking to the truck drivers and making sure everything gets loaded up the right way. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a big yard with some heavy machines and a lot of marble slabs leaning against each other. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains come and the ground gets all muddy and slippery, but we just keep going anyway. People stop by asking for specific sizes or just to see what kind of colors we have in the yard today. We try to keep things organized, but when you're dealing with tons of heavy stone, it’s always a bit of a struggle to keep everything neat. My cousin helps out with the books while I stay outside in the yard most of the day. It’s a busy spot being so close to the main Banswara road. We see a lot of traffic heading into the city.
