Jagmeru Marbles

Jagmeru Marbles is located right on the Main Road, not too far from the Kushal Bagh Ground. Being near the Kushal Bag Palace means most people in the area know exactly where we are without needing a map. We’ve got a decent-sized space here where we store all sorts of marble slabs. It’s a family-run kind of setup, so you’ll usually find one of us hanging around the office or out in the yard checking the stock. The sun hits the stone quite a bit during the day, which actually helps show the natural patterns in the material. We spend a lot of our mornings unloading new arrivals from the trucks. It's a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, but we manage. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. We just show people what we have available on the racks. The neighbors around the ground are used to the sound of the crane moving things. Most of our day is spent helping contractors pick out what they need for their latest projects. We try to keep a variety of pieces so there is something for different tastes, whether someone wants something plain or with a lot of veins. It’s a steady life here on the main road, and we’ve been doing this long enough that it feels like second nature now for everyone working here.
