Gaurav Marble Industries

We are tucked away at G-138 in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with how the blocks are laid out here, but once you see the marble stacks, you’ll know it’s us. The industrial area stays pretty busy with trucks and machines going all day long. Our shed isn't anything special, just a big roof and some open sides to let the air move through while we work. Marble is heavy stuff and we spend a lot of our time just figuring out how to move it without breaking anything. Some days are slower than others, depending on what we have in the yard. We don't do much in the way of talking ourselves up, we just get to the cutting and polishing when the orders come through. The water we use for the saws gets everywhere, so the floor is usually a bit of a mess. That’s just how Gaurav Marble Industries runs, we aren't trying to win any beauty contests with the shop. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Most of the guys have been here for years and they know the routine by heart now. We see a lot of different people coming through Riico looking for materials. We just stay at G-138 and keep our heads down, making sure the stone is ready when someone needs it.
