Maa Ashapura Marbles

Our place is at House Number 161, tucked away in Rati Talai Street Number 6. We are pretty close to Oda Basti, which is a landmark most locals know. It’s not a big commercial showroom, more like a home-based business where we keep our stock nearby. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage. Dealing with marble in a residential street has its challenges, mostly with the big trucks navigating the corners, but we make it work. We spend our mornings talking to suppliers and the afternoons showing whatever stock we have on hand. It's a bit of a maze sometimes with all the pieces stacked up. We don't use fancy words to describe what we have. If a piece of marble looks good, it looks good. We tell people if there are cracks or if the color isn't perfectly even. It’s better to be honest about the stone since it’s going into someone’s floor or kitchen for years. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It keeps us busy and out of trouble. People around the neighborhood know us as the marble guys on Street 6. We’ve been here for a good while and plan to stay right where we are. It's just simple, honest work that pays the bills. We don't need much more than that. Most days we are just here moving pieces around and making sure the yard stays somewhat tidy for visitors.
