Sree Laxmi Bags is located inside Alfa Diamond Plaza at number 236. If you know New Thippasandra, you know it can get pretty crowded on the weekends. Our shop is filled with rolls of fabric and thread. There are different kinds of handles and zippers everywhere. It’s a bit messy most of the time. We are usually in the middle of cutting something. Or we're stitching a new batch of bags together. You can hear the hum of the sewing machines all day long. We don’t have a big fancy display. There are just shelves filled with whatever we’ve finished lately. People stop by when they’re walking through the plaza. They are mostly just looking for something sturdy to carry their stuff in. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The neighbors in the other shops are all pretty friendly. Sometimes the zippers get stuck. Or we run out of a certain color of thread. Then one of us has to go out and find more. It’s a small operation. We handle everything ourselves from the first cut to the final stitch. Being on a higher floor in Alfa Diamond Plaza means we get a little bit of a breeze. That is nice in the summer. We aren't trying to be some huge brand. We're just a local spot in New Thippasandra making bags that actually hold up when you put heavy things in them. It's just honest work.
