Bachelor Bags

Bachelor Bags is located at 45 Subedar Chatram Road, right across from the Triveni Theatre. If you know the Athwalines area, you probably know where the theatre is. It is a landmark for most people around here. We have a variety of bags stacked up inside the shop. We get a lot of young guys and students coming in, probably because of the name, but we sell to everyone. The shop is on a very busy road. There is always noise from the movies and the traffic outside. We have been here long enough that the regulars don't even need to look at the sign anymore. The space inside is a bit tight because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You might have to squeeze past a few boxes to see everything. We don't do much advertising. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's slow and watch the people going to the cinema. It’s an interesting place to work. We see all kinds of people. Subedar Chatram Road is always moving. We mostly sell things that are useful for daily commuting or carrying books. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If a bag looks good and the price is okay, people buy it. That is how we have stayed in business for years.
