S K Star Bags

We work out of the 107 space on the second floor of the Pavana Industrial Premises. It is right in the Ramachandrapuram area, which stays pretty noisy most of the day. Our workshop is filled with rolls of fabric and various machines for making bags. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We spend most of our hours cutting material and checking the zippers. Sometimes the dust from the fabrics gets everywhere, but that is just part of the job. People usually come to us when they need something that lasts. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the stitching is tight and the handles are strong. The building itself is an old corporation property, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb when the lift is acting up. We have been here for quite a while now. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea, which is how we start every day before the machines start humming. It is a steady life and we are used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just make bags and hope they serve the people who buy them well enough for their daily needs. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy.
