S S Luggage is located in the TBR Building at 87/1, specifically on Plot No-24 & 25 along Ten Road in Gandhi Nagar. We’ve been here for a while selling all sorts of bags and suitcases to whoever walks in. The shop is filled with rows of luggage in different colors and sizes. It’s not a very modern place. We have some old racks and the lighting isn't the brightest but you can see what you’re buying just fine. Gandhi Nagar is always crowded and the street noise comes right inside when the door is open. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy boxes around and showing people how the zippers and wheels work on the bags. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock ready. We don't have any sales staff in uniforms or anything. It’s just us sitting behind the counter or helping customers find a bag that fits their budget. People often come here before they head off on a trip. We keep a handwritten ledger for all our sales and we don't really do any fancy accounting. It’s a straightforward shop where we just sell what’s on the floor. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening traffic starts to slow down. It’s a regular neighborhood business and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the local folks over the years.
