Adarsha Krishi Mitra Llp is tucked away on B.C. Sen Road. We are operating out of the house belonging to Somanath Patra, who is the son of the late Raghunath Patra. It’s a well-known family name in these parts, so most people don't have trouble finding us once they get onto the main road. The office is really just a converted part of the property. It’s got a bit of history to it, you can tell by the way the windows are built and how the floors feel. We spend our days dealing with agricultural matters, mostly talking to folks about their crops and what they need for the next season. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though you get the occasional cow or tractor passing by. We don't have any fancy receptionists or waiting rooms. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us sitting at a wooden table with a ledger and a phone. We like to keep things simple because that’s what our neighbors expect. There’s a big tree out front that gives some good shade in the afternoon. Sometimes we take our breaks out there. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, just keeping the gears turning. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to be helpful to the people who come through the door. It’s a small, local effort and we take pride in knowing our regulars by their first names. We just do what needs doing.
