Shri Bala Ji Rice Exporat

We are located over in Rana Pind, and the place is called Shri Bala Ji Rice Exporat. It’s a simple operation where we deal with rice, mostly getting it ready to be sent out to other places. The spelling on our old sign is a bit off, but everyone in the village knows who we are. We spend our days sorting through the grain and making sure the quality is okay for the buyers. Rana Pind is a quiet area, so we don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, but we stay busy with the orders that come in. The building is an old one, with thick walls that stay cool even when the sun is hitting the roof hard. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us working together, moving bags and checking the weights. Sometimes the transport arrives late, and we have to sit around drinking tea and waiting, but that’s just how it is in this business. We don't try to sound like a big international company. We are just local people who know a lot about rice. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grain, and the bags are stacked pretty high against the back wall. We take pride in the fact that we do the work ourselves without any shortcuts. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living here in the village, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and wait for the trucks.
