Shankar Soya King

We are located near the Shivala Railway Crossing in the Shivala Colony part of Amritsar. Our shop is right there in 143001, not too far from the Shivala Mandir. We mostly deal with soya products, and it’s a niche we’ve carved out for ourselves in this neighborhood over the years. The area around the railway crossing is always noisy with the trains passing and the traffic buildup, but we’re used to it by now and barely notice it anymore. People stop by on their way home from work or while they are out doing their daily shopping for the house. Our shop isn't very large, so things are tucked into every corner and shelf we could find. We spend our whole day prepping the soya and waiting on customers who walk in from the street. It’s a very local business, and we know most of the people who walk by every day by their first names. We don't have fancy packaging or a big brand name like the shops in the malls, we just sell what we make right here in our kitchen. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy during the rush, but we clean it up as soon as we get a quiet minute. We're just trying to make a living like everyone else in Shivala Colony. We don't use any fancy marketing words to describe what we do. We just provide soya to people who want it. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day.
