Chirag Foods

Chirag Foods is sitting right in the Nehru Shopping Complex on Lawrence Road. If you know Amritsar, you know this area is always buzzing with people shopping or just out for a walk. We are at shop number 9 on the ground floor. It is a small place, but we pack a lot into it. We have been here for a while, serving the local crowd and the shoppers who need a break. Amritsar is a city that loves its food, so we have to keep up with that by making sure everything we put on the shelves is what people actually want to buy. We mostly handle ready-to-eat items or snacks that people can take home for tea. The complex is an old one, and our shop has that lived-in feel to it. We are not looking to be the biggest store in the 143001 area, just a reliable one for our neighbors. On weekends, Lawrence Road gets really crowded, and we are usually running around trying to help everyone at once. The shelves are usually full of whatever is fresh or in demand that week. We do not use any fancy sales talk. If someone asks what is good, we just tell them what we made today. It is a family-run kind of vibe where we recognize the regulars who stop by every Tuesday or Friday. It is just us doing our thing in a busy corner of the city, making sure people get what they need.
