You can find Shakamri Flour Mill Pvt Ltd in the Ram Bagh area, right near the Axis Bank and the Police Line. It’s a good spot because there’s always something happening nearby. We handle a lot of grain processing here, mostly turning wheat into fresh flour. The mill itself is a large building that’s seen better days, but the equipment inside is what matters to us. We have a crew of about six people who keep things running. It’s physical work, moving heavy sacks from the trucks to the grinders and then back again. We don't have any fancy offices or a receptionist. If you want to talk to the manager, you just have to look for me on the floor. I’m usually covered in flour and checking the settings on the machines. We’ve been at this location for a long time. We don't use any marketing tricks or big advertisements. People come to us because they know we do the job right. The sound of the mill is constant from eight in the morning until we close at night. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but most of them understand it’s just a business. We have tea together in the afternoon when the heat is at its worst. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when a machine breaks down, but we just get on with it and fix things as they come. No one here is looking to be a corporate giant. We just want to do our daily work.
