You can find us at 504- A, Dilbagh Nagar Extension. We are R R Retort Foods Pvt Ltd. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big industrial zones, but we like it that way. We work with food products, specifically using retort technology to keep things fresh. The kitchen and processing area take up most of our space. It always smells like whatever we are cooking that day. We started this because we wanted to see if we could make food last longer without losing the taste. It’s a lot of trial and error. The staff here is small, mostly people from the neighborhood. We don't wear suits; we wear aprons and hairnets. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the seals are tight. Our office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of logs and registers on it. We aren't interested in being a giant corporation. We just want to make sure the food we pack is good. Dilbagh Nagar is a nice spot for us. It’s easy for our suppliers to find us. We don't do much in the way of fancy ads. We just focus on the batches we have to get out each week. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We stay until the last batch is done.
