Munish Herbs

Our business is located on the 1st Floor of Majith Mandi. We are right opposite the Indusind Bank. Being in the mandi means it’s always crowded and there’s a lot of shouting and moving around downstairs. Up on the first floor, it’s a little bit quieter, but you can still feel the energy of the market. We work with herbs. It’s a trade that has been in this area for a long time. Our space is filled with bags and jars and the smell of different dried plants. It’s a very strong scent, but we don't even notice it anymore. We aren't a big pharmacy or a clinical lab. We’re just herb traders. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and talking to the people who bring the herbs in from the countryside. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; we still use ledgers for a lot of our notes. It’s just how we learned to do it. The stairs up to our place are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. We’ve been here quite a while and we know most of the other traders in the mandi. It’s a tight-knit place. We don't do much in the way of advertising. People find us because they know where Majith Mandi is and they know we’ve been here. It’s a dusty, busy life, but it suits us just fine. We keep it simple.
