Ashwani Confectionary

Ashwani Confectionary is my shop located at House No. 656 in the Main Bazaar of Amritsar. We are specifically on Majitha Road, which is a very busy street. The shop is near the Tung Bala Gate area. Our pin code is 143001. Being in the Main Bazaar means there is always a lot of noise and people walking past the door. I sell all kinds of sweets, chocolates, and baked goods. We also keep regular snacks that kids like. The store is not very large, but we try to display everything clearly in the glass counters. Amritsar is a city that loves its food, so I try to have fresh stock all the time. I have been working here for many years. My father used to sit here before me, so it is a family thing. We have seen the bazaar change a lot over time. The traffic on Majitha Road has certainly gotten worse with all the cars and rickshaws. But the people are still the same. They come in for a quick treat or to buy supplies for a birthday party at home. Tung Bala Gate is a good landmark for people who aren't from this part of town. I usually open the shop around nine in the morning. It takes me some time to arrange the jars and clean the floor. I like being part of the Main Bazaar. It feels like the heart of the city. People just know where Ashwani Confectionary is.
