Samudra International

Our office for Samudra International is at 3/609 in Aroor, just north of the Government Higher Secondary School. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find if you’re in the area. We’ve been here for several years now, and we’ve seen a lot of students grow up and move on from that school. The sound of the school bell marks our day more than any clock does. When the kids head home, we know it's almost time for us to start wrapping things up for the evening. The office itself is quite plain, with just some basic furniture and some filing cabinets. We handle international trade, which means we’re often dealing with different time zones and plenty of paperwork. It can get a bit confusing with all the different regulations, but we’ve learned how to manage it over time. The atmosphere in Aroor is nice, and we usually have the windows open to catch the breeze. We aren't a huge team, so we all have to do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking the shipping labels. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. We just rely on the work we do every day. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to wait around, which can be frustrating, but we usually find something else to clean or organize. It’s a modest setup but it works for us. We like the local community here and being situated right near the school.
