Mathew C Mathew & Son

Mathew C Mathew & Son has been around for quite a while now. We operate mainly through P.B.No. 5211. It is a family-run thing, started by the elders and passed down to the current generation. We spend most of our days dealing with the paperwork and the usual day-to-day stuff that comes with a business name like ours. It is not a very big office, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the mail piles up at the post box, and we have to go down and sort through it all. It’s a quiet way of working, really. We don’t have fancy billboards or anything like that. People who know us just know where to find us or how to reach the post box. The office is usually busy in the mornings when the sun is still low. We have old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. My father always said that as long as the work is honest, the name on the door matters. We try to keep things simple here. There are no big meetings or corporate retreats. We just come in, do what needs doing for the day, and then head home. It is a steady life. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is just silent enough to hear the fan whirring. We like it that way. It’s just us, the son and the memory of the father, keeping things moving along at P.B.No. 5211.
