R. K. Motors (India)

R. K. Motors (India) is tucked away at 10 Soni Chambers on A.G. Street. The Opera House neighborhood is always a bit of a mess with all the cars and people everywhere. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and crowded. Our shop has been here for years. It’s not a very big space, and it’s usually filled with the smell of oil and old metal. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with grease on our hands, working on some engine part or another. Soni Chambers is a busy building, lots of other motor shops and small offices packed in together. We know most of the guys working on this street. We don't use a lot of fancy new gadgets. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time. We still use old paper ledgers for a lot of our notes. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. The noise from the street never really stops, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We aren't looking to become some massive service center. We just like being here in the heart of the city, doing the work we know how to do. Some days are long, and we stay late to finish up, but that’s just how the motor business goes. We’re just a local shop in the Opera House area. Nothing more, nothing less.
