Tanwar Tent House

Tanwar Tent House is based out in the Parbatpura Industrial Area at F 1. Being in an industrial zone means we have a lot more space than the shops in the city, but it is also much dustier and noisier. We handle some very large equipment here, and the trucks coming in and out of F 1 are always making a racket. Most of our day is spent moving heavy pallets or checking the condition of the big waterproof sheets we use for large events. It is a gritty job, and our clothes are almost always dirty from the grease and the red soil. We have to be very careful with the transport trucks because if they break down, we can't get the work done. The heat out here can be brutal during the afternoon because there aren't many trees for shade around the warehouses. We usually start the crew at 5 AM so we can finish the hardest lifting before the sun is directly overhead. We eat our lunch together in a small room off to the side of the main storage area. It is a long day, but we prefer being out here where we have the room to store everything properly. It is not a place for visitors to come and look at pretty things; it is just a working warehouse where we get the job done every single day.
