Hanuman Tent House

Down in New Colony, Pisanganj, right along Pushkar Road, you’ll find Hanuman Tent House. We’re a small outfit that helps out with local events and celebrations. Setting up tents is what we’ve done for years, and we’ve gotten pretty fast at it over time. The shop is mostly just a place to store the gear and talk to people about their plans. We have a lot of different fabrics, some bright and some more plain, depending on what the occasion is. Pushkar Road is always busy with traffic, so we try to get our trucks loaded and out of the way early in the morning. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy poles and dragging carpets across the ground. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, but we just put on a jacket and keep going. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of equipment in the back. We know most of the families in the Pisanganj area because we’ve probably helped with one of their events at some point. We don’t make things complicated. You tell us what you need, we tell you if we have it, and then we show up to put it all together. It’s just honest work for the local community.
