Maharishi Gauttam Tent House

Maharishi Gauttam Tent House is over on the Mayo College Link Road, specifically the Sarwad Road side. It is a bit of a specific location to find if you aren't from around here, but we have been set up in this area for a good while. Our work involves a lot of logistics because the equipment we use for tents is heavy and bulky. We have piles of metal pipes, stacks of plastic chairs, and rolls of thick fabric that we use to create spaces for people to gather. Most days start very early for us, especially during the peak seasons when everyone seems to be having an event at the same time. We spend a lot of time on the road, moving between our storage and various sites around the link road. The guys who work here are used to the sun and the dust. It is physical work that requires a lot of patience, especially when a tent isn't sitting quite right and you have to adjust all the ropes again. We don't really do much in the way of fancy marketing. Our name is on our trucks and that is usually enough for people to find us. We just focus on getting the structures up so they stay up. Sarwad Road can be busy, but our yard is tucked away enough that we can get our work done. It’s a honest way to earn a living, even if it means having sore muscles at the end of every day.
