Maya Tent House

Maya Tent House is located in the Hathibhata area. It is one of those local businesses where everyone knows the owner and the workers by their first names. We have been providing tent services for quite some time, and our equipment has seen a lot of use over the years. We have everything from the basic bamboo poles to the more modern metal frames, along with plenty of different colored cloths to cover them. Hathibhata is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a part of that community. Our shop is usually a bit messy because there is always something being repaired or folded. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, setting up for weddings, community prayers, or local festivals. It is not an easy job because you are always on your feet and lifting heavy things. Sometimes the wind picks up and we have to rush out to make sure everything is tied down properly. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just provide the chairs and the shelter that people need for their gatherings. If someone needs a stage or some lighting, we figure out how to make it work with what we have in the warehouse. We are just a local team doing the best we can with the tools we have. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around here.
