Shree Krishna Tent

Our business, Shree Krishna Tent, is over on Lohagal Road in the Naya Bada section near the Police Lines. It is a bit of a crowded area, and our shop is filled to the ceiling with all sorts of tent gear. We have spent many years in this spot, and it has become a bit of a maze inside with all the poles, ropes, and decorative cloths. Every morning starts with a check of the inventory because things always seem to go missing or get tangled up. The dust around Naya Bada is quite thick, so we spend a lot of time shaking out the carpets and washing the linens. It is not an easy job, especially when you have to set up a large structure in the middle of a windy day. We have to make sure every stake is hammered in deep, or the whole thing might just fly away. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It is just a place where we sit on plastic chairs and talk to people who stop by. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, and we all know each other. Sometimes we share a meal in the back when the work is slow. It is just a steady routine of hauling heavy gear and hoping the weather stays clear for the weekend. That is the life we have here at the shop.
