Shree Atul Tent House

Shree Atul Tent House is situated on Lohagal Road, right near the Police Lines Circle. It is a noisy part of town because of all the sirens and the constant flow of vehicles around the circle. Our yard is usually crammed with stacks of metal chairs and those big wooden platforms we use. We spend a lot of our time just trying to organize the mess so we can actually find what we need for the next job. The work is mostly lifting heavy things and making sure the fabrics haven't been chewed by mice or stained by the rain. It gets very hot under our tin roof in the summer, so we try to do the heavy loading in the evening or very early. We don’t really have any big plans; we just keep the business going as best as we can. The guys who work here have been around for a long time, and we all know the routine without having to talk much. Sometimes a customer wants a specific color that is buried at the bottom of a pile, and we have to move everything just to get to it. That is just how it goes here. The traffic outside never seems to stop, and you just get used to the sound of the horns after a while. It is a simple way to make a living, and we are just another shop on Lohagal Road.
