Sameer Tent Udhyog

Sameer Tent Udhyog is located over in Ghati Ganj on the Ana Sagar Road. If you know the area you know it can get pretty crowded especially during the wedding season when everyone is looking for stuff. Our warehouse is filled with all sorts of things like heavy iron poles, rolls of colored cloth, and stacks of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. It is physical work and our hands usually stay pretty rough from loading and unloading the trucks. We spend a lot of time out on the road setting things up in the heat or sometimes late at night when a party is over. The shop itself in Ghati Ganj is where we keep the books and talk to people who walk in. It is not a very quiet place because of the traffic on Ana Sagar Road but we are used to the noise by now. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty or a pole gets bent but that is just part of the business we are in. We do not try to act like a big corporation because we are just local people doing a job. We have seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood since we started out but we stay in the same spot. It gets tiring when there are back-to-back events but we just keep moving along. There is always another truck to load or another tent to take down somewhere.
