Rathore Tent House

Rathore Tent House is based near Ajmeri Gate in Masuda. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. It’s a simple business. We provide tents and chairs and all that for whatever folks in town are planning. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s more of a warehouse where we keep everything stacked up. When someone has a function, we load it all onto the back of the tempo and head out. My brothers and I handle most of the work ourselves. It’s a lot of sweat and lifting, especially when the sun is high. We don't use any fancy booking systems. We just write it down in a big ledger we keep on the desk. Sometimes we lose a pen or forget where we put the keys, but we always manage to get the job done on time. The area around Ajmeri Gate is pretty familiar to everyone in Masuda. We like being centrally located because it makes transport easier. We don’t spend money on flyers or big signs. People just know where we are. If someone needs extra seating for a prayer meeting or a wedding, they just walk over and talk to us. We give them a fair price and tell them when we can drop the stuff off. It’s a basic way of doing things, but it’s worked for our family for years and we don't see any reason to change it.
