R. K. Traders & Decoration

We are over at Madar Gate in the Cavandaspura area. It’s a very old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. At R. K. Traders & Decoration, we deal with a lot of things. It’s not just one type of item. We have stuff for decorating events and then the trading side of things. The shop is usually full of colorful fabrics, ribbons, and sometimes big rolls of paper or plastic. It can look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time, but I know exactly where everything is kept. During the wedding season, this place gets very hectic. We are constantly loading and unloading things from small rickshaws that manage to squeeze through the lanes. The air is always full of the smell of old paper and fabric. I sit at a small desk near the entrance. Sometimes the neighbors come over just to chat because the shop is right on the street level. We’ve been in Cavandaspura for a long time, and the building itself is quite old with thick stone walls. It stays a bit cooler inside during the summer because of that. We don't do much advertising, people just know we are here at Madar Gate when they have a function or need supplies. It’s a busy, cluttered, and lively place to work, and we just keep it moving one day at a time.
