Being based in Ajmer is a big part of who we are. We don't have a massive office in a skyscraper; we mostly work out of a modest space where we can keep our supplies and meet with people. Piya Events started because we saw how much stress people went through when trying to put together a celebration or a small gathering. We thought we could help out by taking over the logistical stuff that nobody likes doing. We spent a lot of time learning the layout of the city and finding out which suppliers are reliable and which ones aren't. Our team is small, mostly just a few local folks who know how things work around here. We don't use a lot of high-tech systems. Instead, we rely on a lot of handwritten lists and phone calls. Sometimes we are working late into the night to make sure a venue is ready for the next morning. It can be exhausting, and there are times when things don't go exactly as planned, but we always find a way to patch it up. We like the personal side of this business—getting to know families and helping them with their important days. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us. We just try to stay honest, work hard, and keep things simple for everyone involved. It’s a local life and we’re happy with it.
