Khabiya Tent House

You can find Khabiya Tent House right by the Pisangan Bus Stand on the Mangliyawas Road. It is a lively place because of all the buses coming and going at all hours. We have our storage and shop right there, so it is easy for people to spot us when they arrive. We mostly deal with the local folks who are planning something at their homes or in the village squares nearby. It is a lot of work with poles, ropes, and big sheets of colorful fabric. We have to keep everything organized, though it usually ends up in a bit of a mess by the end of the busy week. My clothes usually have some dust on them from moving the mats and the wooden stages around. We don't use any high-tech stuff, just the traditional ways of putting up a tent that we have used for years. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard and we have to run to cover everything up before it gets soaked. We know most of the people who come to us since it is a small place and news travels fast. We just try to be helpful and get the stuff delivered when we said we would. It is nice being near the bus stand because there is always someone to talk to or a bit of gossip to hear. We have been doing this for a long time and we know which spots in the area are tricky for setting up.
