Jain Tent House & Decoraters

Jain Tent House & Decoraters is tucked away on Arya Samaj Marg in the Kesarganj area. This part of town gets really crowded, especially on market days. We have been working out of this place for years now. We handle all kinds of tenting and some decoration work too. It is mostly about getting the lights and the fabric to look right for whatever event is happening. We have heaps of different colored cloths and curtains stored in the back. Sometimes it takes forever to find the exact shade someone asked for because the piles are so high. We spend a lot of time on ladders, pinning things up or fixing the overhead covers. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the ropes and the metal frames. It is a family thing, mostly, with a few extra hands when things get really hectic. We don't have a big office or anything, just the shop where we keep the inventory. People from around the neighborhood know us by name. We just try to get the work done on time so the family hosting the party doesn't have to worry too much. Sometimes the traffic on the Marg makes it hard to get the trucks in and out, but we manage somehow. It is steady work and we like being part of the local community here in Kesarganj. We have seen many families grow up and celebrate here over the years.
