Hmt Machine Tools Limited is situated in the Hmt Industrial Area on Beawar Road. It’s a massive place, quite different from the small shops you find in the center of town. When you come onto the grounds, you can see how much space we have for the different sheds and manufacturing units. Beawar Road is a major route, so there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. Inside, the vibe is very practical and focused. We have these huge machines that have been around for quite a while, and they still do the job just fine. The staff here mostly live nearby and many have spent their whole working lives in this industrial area. It’s a long walk from the main gate to some of the workshops, so you see people cycling around inside the compound. The air always has that distinct smell of machine oil and cut steel. It isn't a quiet place by any means, but the noise of the factory becomes like background music after a while. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or modern decorations in the offices. Everything is built to last and to be functional. We just focus on keeping the machine tools in good shape and getting the orders out on time. It is a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a group of people who know their trade.
