Shree Vikash Industries

We are situated right across from the Khailand Market on P.R. Marg. It’s an easy spot to find if you know the area, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the morning market hours. Shree Vikash Industries is basically a workshop where we get things made and fixed. We’ve got some heavy equipment in the back and a small space in the front where we talk to customers. It’s a bit of a messy place, with scrap metal and tools lying around on the benches, but that’s a workshop for you. We don’t have any fancy signs or a polished showroom. People usually come to us because they need something specific done and they know we can handle the job. The air smells like oil and metal most of the time. We start early in the morning before the market gets too loud. It’s mostly manual work, and we all get our hands dirty every day. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them on time. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves and keep going. It’s a simple life here on P.R. Marg. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
