We've been at 404 Krishna Complex in Shahiibaug for a while now. Running a travel desk isn't always easy, but it keeps us busy. People come in looking for bus tickets or planning trips across the state. Sometimes they just want to know the quickest way to get somewhere. We mostly handle bookings and figure out routes that make sense. It’s a small office, mostly just a couple of desks and some maps. We don’t have fancy brochures everywhere, just the essentials to get people where they need to go. Working in Shahiibaug is nice because there's always something happening outside. We started this because we liked moving around ourselves. Now we spend most of the day helping others do the same. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules on the screen. If someone needs a car for a wedding or a family trip, we try to sort it out without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to do things the old way, but we manage. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot. People know they can drop in and ask questions. We keep the paperwork tidy and try to stay organized. It’s just how we run things here. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend some time when it's quiet. We have an old fan that makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions. We help them out even if they don't buy a ticket. It’s a simple life running a travel desk.
