Our office is called Yes, and we are based in C/45 Malhar Flat, right behind the telephone exchange in Vasna. Ahmedabad is a big city, but this corner of it feels like its own little world. Being in a flat means it is not a typical corporate environment at all. It is more like a workspace tucked into a regular building where people live. We have got our desks set up and we spend our days here focusing on whatever projects come our way. Sometimes the address is a bit hard for delivery guys to find because of the layout of the flats, but we are right there behind the exchange. It is a practical setup for us. We do not need a lot of flashy things to get the job done. Usually, it is just the sound of keyboards clicking and maybe a radio playing softly in the background. We have been here long enough that the walls feel familiar and we know which windows let in the best light during the afternoon. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to store, but we keep things as tidy as possible. We do not have a receptionist or a waiting room with old magazines. If you come over, you are basically walking right into where the work happens. It is just a straightforward operation. We show up, do the work, and go home. That is how we keep it.
