Sabarmati, A-26 Suryanarayan Bunglow. Right opposite the Visat Petrol Pump. This is a very recognizable spot in Ahmedabad. Everyone knows the petrol pump, so we just tell people to look across the street. Being in a bungalow makes it feel a lot more like a home than an office. We have a small gate and a bit of a yard. It’s 380005. The traffic near Sabarmati can be heavy, especially with the trucks going by. But once you step inside our gate, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve been here for years. The walls might need a bit of paint soon, but it’s comfortable. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and someone will help you out. We handle a lot of papers and talk to a lot of people on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s part of living and working here. We like that we aren't in a tall tower. It makes things feel more personal. You can see the petrol pump from our front door. It’s a good landmark. We don't try to be something we're not. We are just a local travel office in a bungalow. People in the neighborhood know us by name. It’s a decent place to spend the day working. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon or big promises. We just handle the travel stuff that needs doing and call it a day.
